How We Grub

We eat seasonal, organic and local food whenever possible. Because – it’s better for everyone and it tastes soooo much better. It’s what all the cool kids are doing because it’s empowering as hell to know what is going into your body. We try every day to support real food and their farms and eat the best food this awesome planet has to offer.

We are sometimes vegetarians, sometimes steak-eaters, sometimes people eating brownies for dinner. Because – balance.

We eat out a lot too. We’ll try to get you recommendations on the regular. But I also promise if you e-mail/message me a city, we’ll be able to get you a list of mandatory eating very quickly. The Schneider Food Tour has become a thing in our circle and we’re happy to oblige.

I’m not a recipe-follower. I’m a throw-it-in-a-pan-and-see-what-happens kind of cook. So that’s my challenge with this project. I’m looking forward to the discipline required for writing. I’m also happy about having another excuse to cook.

Lastly, sorry-not-sorry for being judgmental AF about the food you’re eating. We hope you’ll come to love our tough-love no BS advice for how and what you should be eating.
